Today, the voestalpine Group has production and sales locations in 60 countries. With almost 40,000 employees, we accompany our customers everywhere – including into new growth markets. More than a half of all our personnel are employed at locations outside Austria.

The Shareholders of voestalpine AG

voestalpine AG has been listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange since 1995.

43% of the fully-privatized company is held by Austrian investors; 18% of the shares is accounted for by North American investors, and 26% by shareholders in Europe, mainly in Great Britain and Germany.

Furthermore, more than 10% of the shares in voestalpine AG are held by its employees.

Customers and Markets

More than 40% of the Group's turnover is accounted for by "mobility", namely the automobile industry (including suppliers and the commercial vehicle industry) as well as the railway industry and the aerospace industry. Furthermore, voestalpine is one of the leading partners of the construcion sector, civil and mechanical engineering, the energy industry, the household appliance industry (white goods) and the transportation and storage sector.
