Customers and products
Division Automotive is an important supplier for almost all well-known European automotive manufacturers with a clear focus on the premium segment.
The automotive activities as such were started with a production facility for laser-welded blanks that was founded in the 1996/7 financial year.
In 2001, the Division Automotive (previously "Motion") was founded as a separate division of the voestalpine corporate group. Since then, it has acquired various international companies in order to strengthen its position as a European supplier of body-in-white elements, precision parts and components for safety technology.
