The special exhibition dedicated to the anniversary year 2019 took stock of the great impact and significance of the museum. Since opening its doors in 2014, it has become a place of remembrance, a place to go for relatives looking for clues about the lives and suffering of their loved ones during the time of National Socialism.
The exhibition focused on eight people whose fates differed greatly in their experience with the Hermann Göring Works. The exhibition also showed how relatives continue to add to the voestalpine archive and document their own personal stories, thus making an important contribution to an ongoing work of remembrance.
