KS-type rail fastening system for concrete sleepers

The KS-type fastening system is a classic railway line screw fastening. It is used on prestressed concrete sleepers all over the world.

In the case of the KS-type fastening system, the sleeper is connected to a ribbed plate. The base pad is mounted under the ribbed plate. The rail seat pad is fitted under the rail foot. The rail is fixed using the SKL12 clip.

Technical aspects of the KS-type rail fastening system:

  • Possibility of mounting on prestressed sleepers
  • Proper insulation between the rail foot and the sleeper
  • SKL12 clip used instead of standard Łp2 clips
  • Electrical resistance ≥ 5 kΩ
