During the construction of the high bay warehouse for the Global Parts Center Halberstadt, voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik once again demonstrated their logistical and planning expertise. In close collaboration with system integrator Körber, a new 40-meter-high clad rack warehouse was constructed in the foothills of the Harz Mountains – right on schedule despite at times extremely challenging weather conditions.

High throughput with high-quality goods calls for the best logistics - as is the case with the new distribution center of the electronics wholesaler Avnet in Europe. The high-bay warehouse we built for Avnet in Bernburg (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt protects semiconductors and other sensitive technology with particular care. The client appreciated the quality of the execution as well as the order/cleanliness and logistics during the construction phase.

Once again, voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik implemented a high bay warehouse for the wood-based materials specialist EGGER. 1,750 tons of steel bear the specific requirements of the special warehouse in St. Johann in Austria.

With sophisticated logistical solutions, high bay warehouse expert voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik is realizing the new distribution center of the international retail chain JYSK in Ecser, Hungary. The Austrian provider supports their quest for faster and more efficient delivery to shops and customers in Central Europe with its currently largest high bay warehouse project.

Fittings specialist Blum and high-bay warehousing expert voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik meet the challenges of logistics and construction in Bregenz - another milestone in the almost 30-year lasting collaboration.

After being awarded with the ÖGUT Environmental Prize last year, voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik GmbH was able to establish itself as a finalist at the Austrian Logistics Day 2019 as well – focus of attention was once again the mobile application PROVAST.

voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik and ASFINAG were jointly awarded by the ÖGUT Environmental Prize Innovation & City in the category City of the Future for the PROVAST mobile application. As part of the ÖGUT Annual Event on 27th of November 2018 in Vienna, the award was presented solemnly.

Daniel Pennerstorfer, currently doing his third year as an apprentice at voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik GmbH, scored highest in category 5 (process engineering) of the apprentice competition and came off as winner in his job category.

Wine requires especially during storage excellent care. To ensure this in a gas-tight high bay warehouse, the largest private wine merchant in France, known by the "wine bottles with tilted necks" from the brand J.P. Chenet, trusts in the experience of voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik.
