A new location, new topics, many new and familiar faces. The first of the three electrical steel trade fairs took place on 29 and 30 March 2023 in Augsburg. More than 400 exhibitors from 49 nations were there. Topics such as increasing the efficiency of electric drives, greentec steel and sustainability in general were met with a great deal of interest. We are particularly pleased with the positive feedback on isovac® Prime Services: isovac® Prototyping and isovac® Speed. Developments in electric drives continue to evolve in ever shorter cycles. The rapid availability of high-quality grades and the possibility of testing materials in prototypes within a very short period of time play an increasingly important role.

You will find further details at https://www.voestalpine.com/isovac/Service/Prime-Services.

There were a lot of technical topics to talk about, but the voestalpine stand was also a great place to relax. Visitors were able to sit back and enjoy their drinks and appetizers. Discussions about drive motors as a central element of electromobility never stopped. Many agreed about the need for significant investment in research and development to match the importance of electromobility.

The days at the trade fair were a complete success as they quickly flew by.
