Graduate Technical Engineer

We are one of the UK leading stockholders of special steels and nickel base alloys serving many industrial sectors. This is our second graduate training program in the last five years.

The ideal candidate will have just qualified with a degree in materials or metallurgy and needs to be willing to live and work in the West Midlands/Birmingham area of the UK close to Junction 2 of the M5.

The job role will involve all the technical and quality aspects of oil and gas, tubular, aero and our tool steel business sectors.  You will follow a training program for approximately two years and by the end of this period, be part of a team of ten fully qualified engineers familiar with all aspects of contract review, technical queries and material recommendations.

The company will offer you a 35 hour working week based on 9-5pm working, an attractive graduate starting salary, contributory company pension, share save and private health care scheme.
