Highest wear resistance and hardness for the highest stresses. 

Our durostat® steels are characterized by their essentially higher resistance to wear than conventional steels. They are optimally suited to applications with high mechanical stress and high levels of abrasion. Our durostat® steels also guarantee excellent toughness at low application temperatures

altrix®

altrix® multilayer roll-bonded clad plates manufactured by means of the in-house-developed cladding-by-rolling method as two-ply or three-ply plates. The base material features high degrees of toughness and good weldability. The coating material features highest strength and wear resistance in hardened condition. 

Multi-layer altrix® plates are typically used in applications such as suction dredger tubes, ridge forming plates, wear plates on roll housings and in mold engineering, paddles in log washers, slides, chutes and transfer plates in the sand, gravel and concrete industry.                                          

toughcore®

toughcore® defines the new delivery condition of thermomechanically rolled heavy plates with a unique combination of thickness, strength and excellent toughness with excellent weldability. Heavy plates supplied as toughcore® comply with all relevant standards in the linepipe, offshore, energy storage and transport industries as well as in the construction and machinery industries. The designation of steel grades remains in accordance with the respective standard and the identification of toughcore® heavy plates is made as an appendix to the delivery condition.
