METALSERVICE SpA GOES GREEN
A big step toward a sustainable future: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was recently signed between the voestalpine Steel Division and Metalservice S.p.A. for the supply of high-quality isovac® electrical steel strip in the greentec steel Edition with a reduced carbon footprint. The material will be supplied from Linz, Austria, to customers throughout Italy.

The promising partnership stems from a long history. For decades, voestalpine and Metalservice S.p.A. have worked successfully together. Metalservice S.p.A. was founded in 1989 in Cittadella (Padua). With locations in Cittadella and Vicenza, the company is one of the most efficient steel service centers in Europe.
More than 500,000 tons of steel are processed annually here for home appliances as well as for the automotive, processing and electrical industries. Our isovac® electrical steel strip in the greentec steel Edition will also be part of the future portfolio.
