A new greentec steel chapter in Switzerland: Debrunner Metallservice AG will be the first Steel Service Center in the country to offer products in the greentec steel Edition. This will not only continue the long-standing partnership between Debrunner Metallservice and the voestalpine Steel Division but take it to the next level.

For many years, voestalpine Debrunner has been supplying metal service with high-quality steel products. The company, with locations in Menziken and Sennwald (CH), is considered one of the most powerful multi-metal service centers in Switzerland—and as a partner that can deliver more than just steel, including consulting, cutting and optimization. Now the company is also focusing on the aspect of transforming sustainably.
A GREEN STEP TOWARD DECARBONIZATION
With the signed Memorandum of Understanding, Debrunner Metallservice will become a pioneer in the Swiss steel industry.
As the country's first steel service center, it will offer carbon-reduced steel products in the greentec steel Edition—shipped directly from Linz and processed for the Swiss market. Customers of Debrunner Metallservice already rely on materials that have a lower carbon footprint but still feature the same high level of quality.
