EXCELLENT SUSTAINABILITY: voestalpine Stahl GmbH RECEIVES A PLATINUM ECOVADIS RATING
At voestalpine Stahl GmbH in Linz, we do a lot for a sustainable future, which is why we are particularly pleased to again announce our top EcoVadis ranking. This is the highest possible rating in 2022 and means that we performed better than 99 percent of the companies who participate – top 1%!
Since EcoVadis was founded in 2007, the environmental, social and ethical performance has been assessed for more than 90,000 companies in over 160 countries. EcoVadis is one of the largest and most renowned sustainability rating companies in the world.
OUR NEVER-CHANGING GOAL: SUSTAINABILITY
21 criteria in four categories were used by the EcoVadis experts to evaluate our company with respect to the environment, labor practices, human rights, business practices and sustainable procurement. Our commitment to each of these areas was convincing. Our arduous work in reducing the carbon footprint of our products, carefully selecting our suppliers and standing tall for social responsibility and our employees has once again paid off. It is the commitment of our employees that makes it possible for our company to achieve such ambitious goals, a fact that is demonstrated by our platinum rating. We express our sincere thanks to each and every one of them.
This high rating of course is not a reason for us to rest on our laurels, but serves as an incentive to improve ourselves even more.
