Our steel recommendations for specific requirements
durostat® 500: Our steel for extreme demands
Wherever the highest mechanical stress, heavy abrasion, and a desire for weight savings come together, durostat® 500 fully plays to its strengths.
durostat® HM (X120Mn12): Gets hard and even harder
Soft and tough in the as-delivered condition—significantly harder under stress: from around 220 up to 600 HB. This makes this wear-resistant steel the material of choice for particularly demanding applications such as rock crushers or sandblasting equipment.
durostat® toughcore®: Wear-resistant steels with exceptionally high toughness
durostat® toughcore® combines maximum wear resistance with exceptional toughness down to –40 °C. The patented toughcore® process delivers unique material performance for the most demanding applications where safety, service life, and reliability are critical.
durostat® 400 CR: Optimally suited for welding
The cold-rolled durostat® 400 CR combines high hardness with very good weldability and expands the range of available dimensions to a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm. It is therefore the ideal material for components such as excavator buckets or bulk containers and helps to significantly extend their service life.
