The new headquarters of STEINBAUER Performance Austria GmbH and its impressive carbon-optic facade made of colofer® VARIO won the State Prize for Architecture 2016 in the category of Industry and Commerce.
This year, the new company headquarters in Wartberg ob der Aist was awarded the 2016 State Prize for Architecture in the category of Industry and Commerce. The new headquarters of STEINBAUER Performance Austria GmbH (a global manufacturer and developer of auxiliary modules for engine optimization and complete vehicle control) houses research and production facilities as well as development departments.
The building was designed by ARKADE ZT GmbH, a trending architectural firm. The jury was impressed by the basic layout as well as the details with regard to room configuration and the high quality of materials. The building features an extraordinary design and shape, is of reinforced concrete skeleton construction and incorporates prefabricated elements. The entire upper floor of the building was lined with DOMICO products.
The carbon optic version of colofer® VARIO made by voestalpine was chosen as an effective means of showcasing the products of STEINBAUER Performance Austria GmbH in a modern and dynamic building. The sophisticated appearance of the building is perfectly coupled with modern and high-tech design. The impressive 3D look meshes perfectly with the building’s impressive design.
The new company headquarters is available for guided tours and welcomes visitors.
