The Wire Tech Day started with an exclusive gala dinner, which not only offered culinary delights, but also created the ideal setting for networking. The factory tour beforehand provided an exciting look behind the scenes of the voestalpine Group and allowed our guests to experience the manufacturing process at first hand.

The commitment to sustainable wire production and the sustainability strategy of voestalpine Wire Technology met with great interest. With its Roadmap 2 Zero, voestalpine Wire Technology is focusing on sustainability and environmental friendliness with the clear goal of achieving net CO2 neutrality. An ambitious goal calls for ambitious planning.
In order to achieve the goal of CO2 neutrality, a comprehensive overall program was presented based on the 4 pillars of production, applications, end-of-life and other measures.
Research & Development:
voestalpine Wire Technology meets the highest demands with our customized wire solutions. In addition to digital product simulations, our unique R&D setup enables us to offer individual product development with significantly reduced development times. With material and process development from steel to drawn wire, the R&D team guarantees optimized product properties for the subsequent processing and application of the wire products.
