RSS - Rail System Security
Together with OBB, BAMM and the university of Graz voestalpine Schienen GmbH participates in the project RSS – Rail System Security. This project is funded by the FFG though the KIRAS program (www.kiras.at). The project deals with the systematic investigation of periodic RCF defects and the impact on track availability and track security.
The track performance of existing and experimental rail grades will be tested and analyzed on the full scale rail wheel test rig of voestalpine and in a special track test at OBB.
