The Bainitic Rail

In order to provide solutions to the increasing RCF problems in the track network of our customers voestalpine Schienen GmbH is working on the development of the Bainitic rail. This type of rail provides an important contribution to reducing LCC costs for our customers.

The brand name DOBAIN has been registered for the product. 

At the moment bainitic rails are under investigation in selected track tests and in laboratory experiments.
