Ultra-long Rail Shipment

Rails up to a length of 120 m are loaded and delivered from our plant.

The transportation methods for the supply of rails to customers differ according to the specific requirement. Grooved rails used for trams are usually delivered by truck. Vignole rails are delivered on regular flatbed wagons either directly to the construction site, to the customer’s stockyard, to a welding plant or to a harbour for overseas shipments.

The offering of tailor-made logistics packages within the framework of a comprehensive customer benefit solution becomes more and more important.

We steadily continue to improve our logistics competence. For example we supply up to 60 m long rails by ship to appropriate sea ports destinations. With this, also customers from other continents can benefit from the advantages of long rails.
