Environmental Management

We have used an environmental management system since 1998 and are certified and validated according to ISO14001 and EMAS III.

The achieving of stated goals is fully supported by management, since it was recognized early on that active environmental protection does not only incur costs but also leads to cost savings in the final analysis.

The transition of the environmental management system to EMAS EG1221/2009 was implemented in 2010. The environmental record will be published annually.

For the transparent, clearly laid out and understandable description of the environmental-activities we got the EMAS – award 2005 and 2007.

The quality management system, the environmental management system, the safety management system and the risk management system are all mapped in an integrated system.
