We have used an environmental management system since 1998 and are certified and validated according to ISO14001 and EMAS II.

The achieving of stated goals is fully supported by management, since it was recognized early on that active environmental protection does not only incur costs but also leads to cost savings in the final analysis.

The transition of the environmental management system to EMAS 761/2001 was implemented in Dec. 2001 and is seen as a new challenge, since the environmental record will be published annually instead of once every three years.

For the transparent, clearly laid out and understandable description of the environmental-activities we got the EMAS – award 2005.

In June 2007 we reached again the EMAS - award 2007.

The quality management system, the environmental management system, the safety management system and the risk management system are all mapped in an integrated system.
