The expansion of our systems chain for the benefit of our customers is a central goal of our company. This also includes the careful, rapid and economic unloading of long rails directly at the construction site.
This is why we have developed the innovative rail unloading system RAILPUTLER® in cooperation with the German company Robel. We hold the exclusive distribution rights.
RAILPUTLER® can be mounted on any currently used K-railroad car and uses the forward movement of the construction locomotive to easily and safely unload the long rails, which are connected to the existing rails by way of a strap and belt system. The rails can be unloaded in pairs or individually, as needed, and even unloading in the middle of the track or beside the track is possible. The hydraulically supported strapping of the ends without damaging the rails that are to be unloaded guarantees that a whole shipment can be unloaded in one single, continuing process.
Already during the first year after its introduction, RAILPUTLER® was used successfully in many European countries (Germany, France, Great Britain, Norway, Austria, Switzerland, and Slovenia). It has proven itself particularly under difficult circumstances, for instance for the channel tunnel (Eurotunnel) taking advantage of extremely short maintenance time spans, in the St. Gotthart Tunnel in Switzerland with its particularly tight radii for curves and in general in very bad weather conditions.
