Terms & Conditions for Newsletters

If you give your express consent to receive newsletters, we may regularly send you electronic newsletters with commercial content for advertising purposes. For the purpose of sending the newsletter, the following personal data is used when registering for the newsletter: Name, e-mail address.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe option provided in the newsletter or by sending an e-mail to welding@voestalpine.com However, we would like to point out that all processing/transmissions carried out until revocation remain legal.

The data collected from you for this purpose will only be stored by us for the period in which you received a newsletter and have not declared any revocation of your consent to receive newsletters.

We do not send our newsletters ourselves, but through dialog-Mail as a contract processor. The latter also ensures the security of your data by means of suitable technical and organisational measures in line with the state of the art. Our processor is not permitted to use the personal data provided for purposes other than sending the newsletter.

The provision of data for receiving the newsletter is neither required by law nor by contract and is also not required for concluding a contract. There is therefore no obligation to provide this data or to agree to receive a newsletter. The legal basis for receiving a newsletter is only the consent given (Art 6 para 1 lit a GDPR). If consent is not given, a newsletter will not be sent.

We would also like to draw your attention to the following rights which you as the data subject are entitled to under the GDPR with regard to your personal data:

  • Right of access by the data controller to personal data concerning you pursuant to Art 15 GDPR
  • Right to correction under Article 16 GDPR
  • Right to cancellation according to Art 17 DSGVO
  • Right to limitation of processing according to Art 18 GDPR
  • Right to data transferability according to Art 20 GDPR
  • Right of objection to processing under Art 21 GDPR
