Model students among themselves! Passed the test with flying colors. The entire test was a breeze. Some of the measures included a revision of the management manual, an update of standard operating procedures and processes as well as an adaptation of documentation.
New IATF standards! Requirements have changed, and our objective will always be to be at least one step ahead of the competition. Recertification became necessary when new versions of the quality management (ISO 9001) and environmental standards (ISO 14001) were published in 2015. In the following year, in autumn of 2016, quality management standard ISO/TS 16949:2009 was replaced by ATF 16949:2016. The existing certifications had to be converted through recertification and a transition audit. The transition deadline for recertification is September 2018.The voestalpine Steel Division completed the recertification in October of 2017. The new certificates are available for download here.
