Based on our many years of experience and our high-quality metallurgical equipment, we are a reliable partner for all renowned turbine manufacturers. We manufacture castings for Francis, Kaplan and Pelton water turbines, including hubs, collars, Pelton wheel buckets, guide blades and adjusting cranks
Oil and gas
voestalpine Giesserei Traisen GmbH is specialized in the application of cryogenic materials. We have been supplying the international oil-field equipment industry for decades with ready-to-install and pre-assembled components. Examples of this are as follows: compressor housings, compressors, blowout preventers, valves, bearing housings, expander housings.
Nickel-based materials
voestalpine Giesserei Traisen GmbH was heavily involved in the development of this product group for foundries. Nickel-based materials are characterized by high load-carrying capacity at high temperatures and pressures. Areas of application include, for example, steam-driven power plants that operate at 700 °C. Valves and admission ports are examples of successful nickel-based products.
