Wednesday the 9th December saw a highlight of the year for marketing with the annual Construction Marketing Awards (CMAs) dinner. The CMAs showcase the construction industry\u2019s creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing. There are a number of categories including best marketing campaign, best use of content, and best use of website as well as awards recognising the marketing agencies that support the industry.<\/p>\n
This year, voestalpine Metsec plc entered the category \u201cbest digital campaign\u201d for a\u00a0video case study on 66 Queen Square<\/a>. This was the first video case study that Metsec has produced and demonstrates\u00a0Building Information Modelling (BIM)<\/a>\u00a0in action. To promote the video, Metsec used a mix of online advertising and social media in a campaign to showcase Metsec\u2019s expertise in the area of\u00a0BIM<\/a>. The results were impressive with more than 2,000 views of the video within the first month.<\/p>\n The panel of judges for the CMAs were impressed by not only the content of the video, but the effectiveness of the promotional campaign that went with it, in fact they were that impressed that they announced voestalpine Metsec plc as the winner of the best digital campaign award.<\/p>\n
