BS EN 1090\u20132 requires the Execution Class to be specified for:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The works as a whole<\/li>\n<li>An individual component<\/li>\n<li>The detail of a component<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The Engineer<\/strong>\u00a0is responsible for specifying the Execution Class for the structure, the components and the details.<\/p>\n<p>In some cases the Execution Class for the structure, the components and the details will be the same, while in other cases the Execution Class for the components and the details may be different to that for the whole structure.<\/p>\n<p>N.B.
