As a popular international trade show for the continuously growing electrical industry, the Coiltech in Italy attracts visitors from allover the world. On display were materials and machinery for the manufacture and repair of electric motors, generators, power and distribution transformers, industrial transformers and windings. These materials are becoming more and more important against the backdrop of the increasing electrification of our everyday lives.
The team from the Steel Division of voestalpine presented innovations made possible by the highly efficient electrical steel isovac®. The focus was on electromobility and generator design. The requirements in terms of efficiency and performance are becoming ever greater. isovac®, the electrical steel of voestalpine, guarantees that we will be able to reliably meet these requirements.
A highlight at the expo was a presentation given by Roland Schmid (CTQ): „Approaches to optimum material utilization in times of global electrical steel shortages.“ A large number of interested listeners participated in the presentation.
