CAST IRON

Cast Iron, an alloy of iron that contains 2 to 4 percent carbon, along with varying amounts of silicon and manganese and traces of impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus.  Available in a range of sizes and form factors.

Grey Cast Iron Grades

Grey (Gray) cast iron is a type of iron with carbon content greater than 2% and a graphitic microstructure. It is one of the most common types of cast iron used in industrial applications.

Material

CCG Cast Iron (Grey Iron)

CCG Cast Iron is essentially pearlitic in structure with fine graphite flake size and dense homogeneous structure.

Ductile Cast Iron Grades

Ductile cast iron refers to a type of metal substance that has substantial fatigue, impact and corrosion resistance due to the spherical (round) graphite distributions in its molecular structure.

Material

BU Ductile Cast Iron (3D)

BU Ductile Cast Iron  is spheroidal graphite (nodular) ductile iron.
