History of the Documentation Center
The Documentation Center was established in 2001 and deals with the history and documentation of the voestalpine Group. The center has comprehensive archival materials from the period of 1938 to 2007, including more than 1,250 files and boxes with documents from various parts of the company, and further materials are added on an ongoing basis.
Tasks and Goals
Ensuring the preservation of materials pertaining to the history of the Group – systematic collection, organization and management of files, documents, statistics, newpaper articles, publications, photographs, films and objects related to the past development and documentation of the voestalpine Group.
Successive compilation of directories and indexes of primary and secondary sources.
Scholarly documentation and preparation of information on various topics.
Answering written questions as far as internal interests permit.
