The aim of the safety training is to improve the communication and awareness of safety issues at the Donawitz site.
In principle, every contractor is obliged to undergo safety training before entering the factory premises. SATRE safety training is valid for 1 year and must be repeated after this period has expired.
The access card and the helmet sticker are handed out without exception in the Plant Security/Company Fire Department, Building 15, 1st floor.

A deposit of €10 must be paid when the card is issued; this will be refunded
on presentation of the invoice receipt when the card is returned.
In the event of access, the voestalpine contact person must
send an e-mail to the plant security department in advance.
Online training is only possible if you have registered within the operating hours using
the PDF form and have received a link from us by email.
Training variants:
We recommend that you carry out the safety training via the Internet platform set up for this purpose (see "Training via online access"). This allows you to complete the training at any time and from any location.
However, it is also possible to carry out the safety training on site in company building 15 (company fire brigade/plant safety), 1st floor (see "On-site training in BG15").

Please register for the online training course using the PDF application form
provided for this purpose, which you can obtain from the download area on this homepage.
Please send the completed and correct form to the plant security department at
satre-donawitz@voestalpine.com . - The registration link will be sent back to you by e-mail on the day of registration (within operating hours).
The training status is automatically transmitted to the factory backup.
After positive completion, you will receive the SATRE helmet sticker and the access card for the factory entrance in the factory building 15, 1st floor (within the operating hours listed below) upon presentation of an official photo ID. Non-EU citizens and Romanian nationals also require a valid work permit.
On-site training in the company building 15:
- In order to attend an on-site training course in BG15, 1st floor, you will need a valid official photo ID. Non-EU citizens and Romanian nationals also require a valid work permit.
After successful registration, a training PIN is generated, which can then be used to carry out the on-site training at a terminal. Allow sufficient time (approx. 40 minutes) for the training course and registration. There may also be waiting times.
Without an official photo ID, registration is not possible and therefore no training can be carried out and access to the voestalpine plant premises is not possible. Non-EU citizens, Romanian citizens, must also present a valid work permit.
