AHEAD – behind the technologies in motorsport: voestalpine presents a new format in the “sports and talk” category, broadcast by Servus TV. It premieres on March 13, 2017, at 9:15 p.m.
The modern architecture of the voestalpine wing in Spielberg unifies the emotions of racing and the fascination for innovation and technology. This is the spirit behind the eight episodes of the new AHEAD in TV format which offers illuminating and thrilling explanations of the complex developments and technologies in motorsport. The series looks at the highlights of the 2017 motorsport calendar, including Formula One, the World Endurance Championship (WEC), World Rally Championship (WRC), and MotoGP, and examines the technical details which can determine victory or defeat.
Cooperation as part of the activities associated with the voestalpine wing
The program studio—how could it be otherwise—is based at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, with the voestalpine wing as its backdrop. The well-known and competent presenter of the program is none other than former Formula One driver David Coulthard.
The first episode of AHEAD visits a Formula One test stand at the Formula One tests in Barcelona (first broadcast scheduled for March 13, at 9:15 p.m. on Servus TV). For all those who miss an episode, there’s the opportunity to watch the program on voestalpine channels shortly afterwards.
AHEAD is a cooperation between Servus TV/Red Bull Media House and voestalpine.
