Mobility is a significant driver of innovation and an international growth area at voestalpine. Over the coming months this future-oriented sector will be a focus of all the Group's communication activities.
Whether railway systems, automotive or aerospace, with its pioneering innovations voestalpine repeatedly demonstrates its role as an exceptional partner to demanding customers in the mobility segment. For example, the voestalpine Group is
- one of the five largest aerospace suppliers worldwide,
- world market leader in turnout technology and special rails, and
- represented in almost all automobile components.
The importance of the industry is also reflected in its contribution to total Group revenue: 47% in the business year 2014/15. Sufficient reason to dedicate a communications focus to this future-oriented sector.
Focus on mobility in all communication activities
Starting April 1, 2016, over the coming weeks the focus will be on mobility. Informative articles on products, trade fairs and events associated with the voestalpine wing at the Red Bull Ring will be published regularly on all internal and external communication channels. Content for each target group will be prepared in the form of videos, infographics and blog posts etc., offering greater insight into all voestalpine activities related to mobility.
