The 15th LogiMAT Stuttgart opened its doors to visitors from March 14–16, 2017. voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik GmbH again attended, demonstrating products including cubiqo®, a world first. Nedcon presented various warehouse solutions.
The motto of this year’s international trade fair for distribution, materials handling and information flow was “Shaping change: Digital-Connected-Innovative”, and attracted over 50,000 logistics experts to the Stuttgart exhibition center. A record exhibition area of over 100,000 m² was the setting for international exhibitors from 36 countries.
voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik demonstrated its products
Regular exhibitor voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik welcomed customers, partners and prospects to its 80 m² exhibition stand. The unique backdrop of LogiMAT was again the ideal setting for voestalpine experts to present their innovations to the public.
Focus on cubiqo®, a world first
This year the focus lay on cubiqo®, the world’s first wheel warehouse in modular design. It was not only the model rack that drew attention, but also the Plexiglas model which encouraged visitors to try out the modular system and create a variety of warehouse layouts. This was a creative method of realistically demonstrating the advantages offered by cubiqo®.
Stand designed to encourage dialog a success factor
The voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik exhibition stand served as the perfect starting point for conversations about warehousing technologies and solutions, as well as new and existing projects. It was also positive to note that, in addition to pure information gathering, customers and partners also approached the stand wishing to discuss specific topics. The strategy of designing the stand to encourage dialog again proved its worth. Visitors were received and advised by employees from sales and project management, as well as department heads and the management.
LogiMAT Stuttgart has established itself as Europe’s most important intralogistics trade show. It is the ideal format for the industry, making it a fixed event in the annual voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik trade show calendar.
voestalpine Group company Nedcon presented warehouse solutions
Warehouse equipment company Nedcon, a voestalpine Group company with its headquarters in Doetinchem, has also exhibited at the trade show since 2013. The company’s motto at this year’s show was “sophisticated solutions for every warehouse”. Nedcon explained to stand visitors the various warehouse solutions and their advantages. Nedcon is primarily focused on selling its racking systems to end customers in the retail sector, in the fashion industry, in e-commerce, to third party logistics service providers, and to the parts and components market.
New voestalpine corporate design
The voestalpine Group is marking the consistent implementation of its strategy and its changing self-image by updating its visual identity: its transformation from a European steel company to a global technology and capital goods group is now also being mirrored in its corporate design. The new visual identity combines tradition with future expectations, and increasingly symbolizes dynamism and a focus on the future.
