In his second blog article our international "high mobility pool" member, José Samuel Ramirez Torres from Mexico, talks about his current and past tasks and challenges in the voestalpine Group.

Ramirez High Mobility PoolFor my second project I was established in Krems/Austria working on different projects for voestalpine Krems. voestalpine Krems is a market leader in the production of tubes and sections. With 550 employees, the company is part of the Metal Forming Division and is supported by a well-established worldwide network providing the company with flexibility and the ability to respond to customers in the global market. The main focus of the company is the mobility, energy and building industry. The product applications are for example: agricultural and construction machinery, forklifts, door frames, floor and roof frames, car bumpers, window rails, solar installations, vineyard posts, among others.

New challenges

The main activities I was working on, were in the areas of Marketing and Sales as well as in the area of Communication and Brand Management. In the area of Marketing and Sales I was project manager for the implementation of a CRM System within Stamptec group, which is the Automotive Body Parts unit in Germany. In the area of Communication and Brand Management I was assisting the Brand and Communication Manager in the generation of reports within the Metal Forming Division.
