VAE SA not only manufactures the complete product, but as a stock of spares and will manufacture sub components required for repair or replacement, within the track work environment.
SPECIAL PRODUCTS – INTRODUCTION
In most track systems there comes a time when the desired configuration is not easily obtained with standard products, or the use of these would not give the most efficient system. A significant part of our business has been built around using our experience to provide alternative design solutions to improve and optimize the layout system.
We regularly visit sites, go underground to carry out surveys, design systems, provide the drawings and then manufacture what is required.
Narrow Gauge Turnouts (For mainly underground applications) Conventional, Flexi, Australian, IC and JL type turnouts manufactured with various rail sections.
Broad Gauge Turnouts (For mainly the yard and siding areas)
Various turnout designs may be offered in this field, from turnouts designed to support regular freight to heavy haul applications.
Special turnouts such as three-way turnouts, equal splits, unequal splits, similar flexures and dual gauge turnouts to suit the customers’ requirements.

All of which are available in a wide range of lengths, gauges and angles, supported by either channel, box channel or flat bar sleepers. Except for the broad gauge turnouts, which are supplied on steel sleeper bar or wooden sleepers.
