Inductive Safety System IS 2000
System Layout
IS 2000, the inductive safety system, monitors the position of the switches in connection with electric and hydraulic switch setting devices. Contactless analogue sensors substitute the mechanical end-position sensors and the detector rods.
Analogue sensors operating on an inductive basis supply information on the position of the switches to the IS 2000 evaluation module.
The monitoring contacts of this output relay are integrated into the monitoring circuit of the turnout in lieu of the common mechanical switching contacts of conventional end-position detectors.
