VS60 (magnetic drive)
The VS60 is a setting device for grooved rail turnouts. According to the customer needs it is either driven by an electro-magnetic drive (VS60) or an electro-hydraulic drive (VS60 H). In each version the locking of operating and detector rods ensures that the switch rails are mechanically locked 2 times at its end position. Inductive proximity switches, which determine the end position and locking status are connected to the control system for complete supervision of signaling system.

End position damping guarantees quiet and gentle setting of the turnout. The whole system is designed modularly and the clear and open structure provides good accessibility of all components that relief inspection and maintenance works. All components are well-chosen and the functional design guaranties maximum availability and longest inspection and maintenance intervals. These are factors to consider in optimised Life Cycle Costs (LCC) to achieve the best system efficiency.

Meeting the requirements of the modern urban transport, the setting device VS60 fulfills the highest safety standards and it is proven according to CENELEC (SIL3/Safety Integrity Level 3 by EN 50126/EN 50129).
