VAE Eisenbahnsysteme GmbH possesses an integrated management system, which has been certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance GmbH (LRQA) in accordance with the following requirements:

ISO 9001:2000 (Quality management)
ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental management)
EMAS-II (European Environmental Management and Auditing Scheme)
OHSAS 18001:1999 (Work safety management)

Furthermore, in 2001 VAE Eisenbahnsysteme GmbH became the first industrial company in Styria to join the “ Company Climate Alliance” and is actively involved in climate protection and a reduction in greenhouse gases.

Product and procedural quality is a special company priority. An integrated management system incorporating organisational processes and technical equipment in the production and quality assurance sectors both make an important contribution to the attainment of this objective.
