Advantages

  • As the movable part (wing rail) is in front of the point of the crossing, this design is very suitable for turnouts with small radii and single cross-overs (short lengths of the turnouts)
  • Highest possible service life because there are no impacts in the overrunning area
  • No check rails required
  • Can be thermite welded into the track
