Elastic Inner Stockrail Fastening VAE System Zeltweg
A laminated spring clamped with a wedge is placed in a tunnel of the slide chair and elastically secures the stock rail at its inner side.
The elastic inner stockrail fastening is used in switch devices of turnouts of all rail sections where the switch profile is lower than the standard rail profile of the stock rail. The difference in height between switch section and standard rail section can be used to place lubrication-free sliding elements, ECOGLISS, onto the sliding chairs.
Advantages
- With the elastic inner stockrail fastening the stock rails are clamped at their inner side with the same elastic force as are the rails in the running track.
- Therefore outside rigid stock rail supports which lead to increased wear of the switch because of their lack of elasticity are no longer necessary.
- With the help of the laminated spring the clamping force is applied in a plane or at least a linear way to the rail foot and thus punctual support of the clamping element is avoided which could lead to rail fractures in extreme cases.
- Can be used in the rear area of the switch device of large turnouts where the switches are already clamped and do not slide any more In this case the same clamping elements are used as for the standard slide plates.
- Easy to install and dismantle.
