Voestalpine Stahl Service Center GmbH is the centre of excellence for the preprocessing of cold-rolled and surface-treated strip in the thin sheet sector. The company is based in Linz, where two sites manufacture high-precision slit strip, sheets and cut shapes from a wide range of steel grades. In the 2005/06 financial year, the company's 320 employees sold approximately 695,000 tons of material. A new subsidiary in Poland and a share in service centres in Italy and Germany round off the strategic reach of the voestalpine Stahl Service Center GmbH.
