voestalpine Stahl fits its products and processes to customers’ needs because it is the customers who define what quality is, not us. Through this quality management system those customer demands are put into action systematically.
The quality management system of voestalpine Stahl has been certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance since 1990. In 1996 there was a switch from ISO 9002 to ISO 9001 and since 2000 the company has been certified as well according to the automotive standard ISO/TS 16949.
In addition to the environmental and safety management system, this quality management system is an integrated part of our generic management system. Internal audits and an annual management review guarantee the effectiveness and the continuous improvement of this comprehensive management system.
