Innovative Technology
State-of-the-art zinc coatings and high-quality heat-treatable steel grades form the basis for the phs-ultraform® technology developed and patented by voestalpine. Blanks made of phs-ultraform®, including those that are laser-welded, are formed and cut to final geometries using conventional cold-forming technologies. The geometry is merely hardened and finalized in hot condition.
