Environmental Statement 2006 – now available on-line

Linz, January 22, 2007. The updated Environmental Statement covers all of the EMAS * validated voestalpine companies at the locations Linz and Steyrling, and describes the environmental goals and environ- mental performance during the relevant reporting period. For the companies involved, the Environmental Statement represents an important means of communication in order to initiate a dialog with people who are interested in the environment.

The Environmental Report is available only in German. If you are interested in more specifics and have questions you wish to address in English, Mr. Hannes Sigmund, the Environmental Officer of voestalpine, will be pleased to respond to you.

The next consolidated Environmental Report will be submitted for review in October 2007 and subsequently published.
