Our focus on performance at voestalpine is essential. Whether at the training center or through in-house education and training programs, voestalpine places a lot of emphasis on continually promoting its employees. It goes without saying that the voestalpine Steel Division will be a main sponsor of the Second Upper Austrian Performance Prize.
For the second time, participants from throughout Upper Austria can participate in the Performance Prize contest. The Performance Prize is intended to put top performers on stage and show the citizens of Upper Austria that performance and responsibility have a very important place in our society.
Prizes for exceptional achievement are awarded in three regular categories and a special category:
- Youth (through age 25)
- World of work and business
- Special category: Life achievement (nominated by the jury)
A distinguished jury chaired by University Professor Meinhard Lukas and including Herbert Eibensteiner, Chairman of the Management Board of the voestalpine Steel Division, will determine the winners. The 2016 Upper Austrian Performance Prize winners will be honored at an awards ceremony at voestalpine Stahlwelt.
