Hot-dip galvanized steel strip is characterized by its high degree of corrosion resistance, excellent working properties and a wide spectrum of applications.

Portfolio

Tailored to your specific needs, our portfolio ranges from extremely mild to advanced high-strength steel (AHSS) grades and includes widths up to 1,730 mm and thicknesses ranging between 0.5 mm and 3.5 mm. All hot-dip galvanized products of voestalpine have one thing in common: The best processing characteristics and highest degree of corrosion protection. Special features include Galvannealed and ZincMagnesium hot-dip galvanized steel strip.

Portfolio

The electrogalvanized steel strip portfolio ranges from extremely mild to advanced highest-strength steel grades. All of these grades are characterized by high-quality appearance and excellent shell quality. The mechanical properties are equal to those of cold-rolled sheet. Electrogalvanized steel strip is available with a galvanized coating on one or both sides. The zinc coating layer thicknesses range between 2.5 and 7.5 µm.

Our cam units are predominantly used in the automotive and automobile component supplier industries.

Standard cam units

Our standard cam units are used to punch, cut and form sheets and plates. Cam slide units make it possible to punch, cut and form sheets as they are pressed into the various shapes of auto bodies.

Special cam units

If a suitable slide unit cannot be found in our standard program, we will be glad to manufacture one that meets your specific requirements. We use standard components in our units so that we can offer the largest possible part availability to our customers.

Custom-made products

voestalpine Giesserei Linz GmbH supplies ready-to-install sliding elements and bushings in a wide variety of designs: Slide plates up to 1,300 x 500 mm, bushings, rings and cast parts up to a unit weight of 1 ton. All sliding elements can also be manufactured in a wide variety of different bronze materials.

Orders

Each sliding element is assigned a serial number. Indication of this unique sliding element number is sufficient when placing orders.

Cold-rolled steel strips made by voestalpine shine with the best surface appearance. Our continuous production process and modern H2 annealing technology allow the manufacture of high-quality cold-rolled steel strip with narrow thickness tolerances.

The comprehensive steel grade program makes cold-rolled steel strip a true all-round material that can be used in applications from simple sections to complex deep-drawn parts.
