Blanks made of phs-ultraform®, including those that are laser-welded, are formed and cut to final geometries using conventional cold-forming technologies. The geometry is only hardened and finalized in hot condition. As an innovative market leader, voestalpine Stahl GmbH will also be providing phs-ultraform® for hot forming to final geometry and hardening in a single process step.
