The modern machinery of voestalpine Rotec Iberica SA includes advanced sawing machines for processing parts in tubular, sectional or rod form and a special high-tech tube cutting off method.
These machines can handle a wide range of materials, such as steel, high-grade steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals.
CUTTING
Tubes at voestalpine Rotec Iberica are processed with an Adige saw, five Ringmaster and three Vulcan facilities.
The Vulcan method cuts of tubular parts with a high processing speed and cycle times allowing a throughput of up to 7,000 tubes per hour, which would be completely inconceivable using any other method. The system is suitable for tube wall thicknesses of 0.4 to 7 mm, inside diameters of 6 to 100 mm and tube lengths of 3 to 500 mm. Depending on the wall thickness, diameter and material, an accuracy of between 0.2 and 0.5 mm can be achieved in straight cuts.

END MACHINING
voestalpine Rotec Iberica SA has several possibilities to machine the ends of cut lengths tubular parts.
With a total of 9 ECONOMY tube end machining centres and 4 Sinico cells, the company can guarantee that workpieces are processed highly efficiently and to demanding specifications in terms of length tolerance, perpendicularity and chamfer.
