RFC- A History of Innovation

Established in 1947, Roll Forming Corporation (RFC) began with a modest staff of just three employees. By the mid 1960’s, RFC’s reputation for innovative solutions and productive partnerships had garnered them an impressive list of OEM clients throughout the continental United States. With four plants on its Shelbyville, Kentucky campus and a facility in the Clark Maritime Centre in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the company continued to grow and progress over the next four decades, eventually adding a sixth facility in Sharon, Pennsylvania.

In 2000, Roll Forming Corporation was purchased by voestalpine AG, one of Europe’s largest steel producing and processing companies. As a result of the acquisition, RFC joined an international alliance of roll forming companies with a shared vision of innovation and integrity that set the stage for the company’s continued growth and success.

Today, Roll Forming Corporation is one of the largest diversified roll forming operations in the U.S., serving the market leaders in a wide variety of industries. It is a thriving corporation that embraces its heritage while continually preparing itself for the opportunities and challenges the future will bring.
