voestalpine Railpro’s high stability ballast – the solid foundation of today’s rail infrastructure - is different to that of yesteryear. Tightly specified, guaranteed source, delivered in special FCCPPS ballast wagons to defined delivery schedules means contractors can optimally manage their work processes. Today’s concrete sleepers offer an active life of 25+ years. Requirements are forecast such that production and delivery are exactly on time. voestalpine Railpro supplies points and switches completely pre-assembled to maximize installed integrity and a wide range of support components for maintenance functions. Level crossings come in all standard and non-standard designs.

voestalpine Railpro’s advanced rail welding plant was built and equipped especially to meet the highest demands of railway managers. Computerized for the greater part, the plant focuses on top product quality, smooth processing and on-time on-spec delivery. Rails can be delivered at any location indicated by a client by means of the company-owned and operated rail-carrier train. Rail specifications naturally meet all standards including those for tram and light rail. Typical stocks are some 200,000 linear meters of profiles up to 60E1, tailored rails, drilled to spec as required.
