Applying the SLS-philosophy, voestalpine Railpro has adapted its organisational structure.

Together with the customer, the account management team analyses the projects in the preliminary phase with a view to deciding which specific combination of products and services is required to make it a successful project. Our experts in the field of products, logistics and recycling offer assistance in their own domain to help provide complete solutions. Together with our strategic buyers, the suppliers of products and service develop the right product portfolio that is optimally tailored to the needs of the market. They support the marketing of these products as well. These tasks have been brought together in our Business Development department.

The project that has been thought out by the client and the suppliers will be translated into concrete actions by the operations department.

The sales department is in contact with the project planners and members to develop the existing plans. They take care of order processing and contract management. The sales department and stock management maintain contact with suppliers and define the right level of stock. The Dispatch department takes care of the whole product flow, such as site trains.

The operations department is then responsible for dealing further with the requests in the field of Supply, Logistics & Services. The requests are made more specific, prices are calculated and orders are carried out. This department takes care of the following activities: sales, purchasing, stock management and logistics.

The operations department makes sure that the services you choose will actually be delivered on time, with the right composition and to the right location. This department is responsible for storage, rail welding, the control centre and technical services.
