The voestalpine Railpro company is one of the companies which is serving current management and contractors with hardware and service to support national objectives - an efficient, safe and reliable rail network. It is a complex task which has been addressed with energy, knowledge, professionalism and some wisdom.
There has been a long history of contact between Austria's voestalpine Bahnsysteme (a full subsidiary of voestalpine AG, Austria) and the Netherlands' Railpro. In 2002 this led to the purchase by voestalpine Bahnsysteme of 70% of the shares of Railpro Still accompanied by now 30% shareholding of the former majority shareholders. A primary reason for the transaction was to combine Railpro's logistics and service skills with voestalpine's innovative production capabilities to create a complete and unique package of products, logistics and service for the Dutch market.
